Structural Funds Problem Brings Yellow and Red Cards to Ministries

The coalition “NGOs for structural funds” released on the 7th of June 2006 the report: “Structural Funds: Including NGOs in planning the programs financed through European funds”. The report presents the way the NGOs’ needs, including regulation and the general practice of structural funds are being treated by ministries responsible for the management of European funds (Ministry of Labor, Social Solidarity and Family, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of European Integration, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Finances) and by the Prime Minister Cabinet. Taking into consideration the ministries’ willingness of communicating with the NGOs, the Coalition shall give every ministry a card (green, red or yellow) in accordance with the European Commission model.
