This study of NACAB brings into limelight Romanians’ concerns and troubles with regard to the consequences of the adhesion. The study is merely a working document, its value residing more in the 1500 citizens’ views rather than in numbers. Themes such European citizenship and its consequent rights and responsibilities are still far fetched concepts for most of Romanians. The network of CABs, based on a partnership between a local public authority and an NGO, takes on its role to inform and advice Romanian citizens in the matters pertaining to the EU adhesion.
