Period: January 2011 – December 2013.
Goal: Consolidating the capacity of NACAB to act in the name of the citizens (both at the local and national level) and to engage them into exercising their rights and responsibilities. The activities of the project revolve around the strategic approach of four main domains: promotion and public visibility, services delivery, organizational development, and fundraising. The activities developed under each of the four domanins tackle the impact and the expected outcomes at the level of each strata of NACAB – the Board of Directors, the Executive Secretariat, the members (CABs or NGO members). Specifically, throughout the implementation period, NACAB purports to construct a unitary image of the network in relation to the public, to adapt the services provided by the CABs to the citizens’ needs and expectations, to enhance the degree of involvement of all NACAB structures in the governance of the organization and, last but not least, to improve its capacity in order to constantly engage in fundraising activities for the organization. The project represents a general purposes grant offered by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation.
