Period: November 2009 – September 2010.
Goal: Involving NGOs in the process of identifying the most important issues related to environmental protection, as they are perceived by citizens living in rural milieus; creating and promoting two examples of success of citizens’ involvement in solving problems related to environmental protection. The main activities of the project are: organizing a competition between NGOs for identifying the most important problems related to environmental protection, offering assistance to NGOs taking part in the competition, creating a jury formed of personalities to appeal NGOs to take part in the competition and awarding two NGOs (and, consequently, two problems raised by the two NGOs), offering assistance to the two NGOs in solving problems related to environmental protection and promoting the results attained with the implementation of the project. The project activities will cover 10 months.
