Europe and its citizens. A dialogue

Period: April 2010 - December  2010

Goal: This project was designed so as to answer Romanian’s need for information on the EU and its institutions, while promoting the idea of free access to information as both a prerequisite for establishing the equality of opportunities in a democratic society and a functional principle of the National Association of Citizens Advice Bureaux (NACAB). “Europe and its citizens. A dialogue” continued the series of similar projects financed by the German organization and implemented by NACAB ever since 2005. During the implementation period of “Europe and its citizens. A dialogue“, 23 workshops (citizens’ debates) were held in just as many local communities where the NACAB network is present. The locations where the 23 debates took place are:  Focsani,  Timisoara, Piatra Neamt, Nehoiu, Simeria, Campia Turzii, Targu Neamt, Buzau, Berghin, Satu Mare, Brasov, Jimbolia, Alba Iulia, Tiganesti, Pitesti, Braila, Lipova, Roman, Arad, Bucuresti, Sibiu, Sf.
