On June 30, NACAB will organize the conference Romanian Communities & Public Funds. The event will take place at the premises of CAB Bucharest – Calea Victoriei, no. 2, sector 3, Bucharest, ground floor, FEDES IRECSON hall.
Starting from the idea that the provisions of Law 350/2005 on public funding could consolidate the link between citizens and public institutions, the conference Romanian Communities & Public Funds will put into discussion the manner in which the above mentioned law is put into practice, and will propose recommendations for an efficient use of those funds. Which are the means through which the institutions seek to inform citizens, how do public institutions contribute to the development of the communities, and by which means do public institutions build on citizen’s agenda? – these are few of the questions the conference will seek to answer.
The Law 350/2005 on public funding is extremely important in the development of the communities providing the public funds shape the priorities established by the communities themselves. More than that, the Law 350/2005 is a viable mechanism in creating and consolidating citizen’s agenda providing the needs and expectations of the citizens are taken into consideration when awarding those funds.
