Period: October 2010 – July 2013
Goal: Promoting the long term sustainability of rural milieus within 5 development regions, 6 counties (judete), 10 villages from Romania through activities which support and encourage the initiation of non-agricultural businesses and through the intensification of use of active measures for sustainable employment. The project’s activities involve: improving the quality of human resources in the rural areas by developing and offering training, information and advice programmes to 3600 persons purporting to initiate the development of rural entrepreneurship; providing personalized guidance and specific training services for 1400 persons from rural milieus aiming to support the start-up of non-agricultural businesses; ensuring that 1600 persons benefit from key competencies facilitating their access on the labour market; founding 10 rural centers that set the grounds for ensuring the project’s long term sustainability.
